When I was a young 20-something, I wanted one of these. This model is the first carbon bike that I personally ever saw in the early to mid 1990’s. I’m not too excited about this one, as I’m too tall to enjoy it, but man is it light!
I just finished it today. After all the polishing of its aluminum stays and lugs, I’m happiest about the cork rain plug that I made for the stem. I’ve seen corks used as bar end plugs, so I figured I’d use a cork in this application. Maybe I can carve out a niche for myself as a stem corker.
