This is a mid-1970’s Japanese Schwinn Traveler that I am overhauling. I have owned this bike for years, and have long hesitated to start it. There’s a really bad rusty spot on the rear wheel that has caused me to delay this endeavor. I have another wheel at the ready if I can’t get it looking good. The rest of the bike is in very good condition, indicating low mileage and a hassle-free rebuild. This bike’s best years are ahead of it.
